Born in 1981, Sing Chin Lo has developed an interest in works with complicated details since he was young. After spending an academic year as an engineering major at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he transferred to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and focused on fashion design. He has won many prizes and was selected for many fashion competitions. He received the Merit Award in the Design for Asia Award by Hong Kong Design Centre in 2010. He was also the finalist of the Hong Kong Fashion Week New Fashion Collection Award in 2007 and the winner of the New Designer Fashion Grand Prix by Onward Kashiyama Co Ltd, Tokyo, Japan in 2006. He also won The Young Talent Award by the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association in 2005. In 2010, he was one of the participating designers in the exhibition “Popping Up” organized by the Hong Kong Arts Centre. In 2008, he was chosen to be the Hong Kong representative taking part in the Asia Pacific week INFASHION fashion show in Berlin, Germany.
In 2007, Sing Chin Lo launched his own label “PLOTZ”, producing comfortable garments fueled with sophisticated details and styles. PLOTZ has been pertaining to the spirit of communication between garments and human beings derived from hints of conspiracy, little secret,and over-excitement. His philosophy in design is to convey the understanding in flattering women’s body through tailoring fashion with detailed patchwork and contour silhouette.

Inspired by the theme of ethical culture, the design mixes wrapping and patching into the feminine silhouette cutting to create these special looks. The application of cotton and silk creates a perfect balance between elegance and casualty, and the natural color tone makes the outfit more wearable for all occasions.
